HOW DO I BECOME CERTIFIED?
Step 1: You need to take an exam, which is based on the NHLA Certification Manual.
The exam is held annually the first Saturday in March.
Step 2: Download and Complete the Application and Code of Ethics.
Step 3: Mail your Application, Code of Ethics and exam fee ($75 for NHLA members; $100 non-members; the fee for the Plant ID portion only is $40) to:
PO Box 253

The exam is given at the Thompson School, UNH, 9 am to 1:30 pm. See schedule at the bottom of the page.
If you have questions, please contact NHLA Certification Coordinator, Patty Laughlin, Lorax Landscaping, 603-303-0179, firstname.lastname@example.org
